About Course

This training course aims to equip aspiring au pairs with comprehensive knowledge of caring for children in a modern world or in developed countries. You will develop understanding of How to be effective as an aupair, Family to child safety and security, Understanding developmental milestones of different ages of childhood, Nutrition of children, Family relationship and communication, Harmonizing priorities as well as Self care and Personal Development. Utilizing this knowledge will help you have a smooth au pair experience with your host family and build long lasting network and relationships.

Course Content

Module 1: Understanding the Au Pair Role and Responsibilities
1. What is the role of an au pair? What is their position within the host family? 2. The typical duties and tasks, such as childcare, light household chores, and assisting with homework. 3. Discussing cultural exchange and how to navigate cultural differences. 4. Establishing clear communication with host families to ensure mutual expectations are met.
